Carlos Jorge Camacho Dantas was born in Funchal in 1966. In 2016, he founded JUAF ESTATE, LDA. Today he is an entrepreneur. In the past — a well-known footballer from Madeira.

He raised a talented son: Afonso Dantas — a chef and the first person from Madeira to receive a Michelin star.
